Review by hotel critic
During my recent sojourn in Marrakech, I had the pleasure of staying at Color Safrà. Nestled within the enchanting Medina district, this riad is not only a sanctuary of peace and comfort but also a breathtaking blend of traditional architecture and modern amenities. The rooms, tastefully decorated and equipped with air conditioning, showcased intricate tilework that whispered tales of Morocco's rich history. Each morning, we indulged in a delightful continental breakfast where the variety of dishes offered was a refreshing change from our earlier culinary experiences in the country. The attentive staff, including the warm-hearted culinary team, was genuinely keen to ensure that every aspect of our stay was tailored to our satisfaction. Beyond breakfast, Color Safrà features a remarkable restaurant that serves a delightful fusion of Catalan, Moroccan, and Spanish cuisine, which was a true highlight of our gastronomic adventures. The location is impeccable, with key attractions like the Marrakech Museum and Medersa Ben Youssef just a short stroll away, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the vibrant culture of the medina. After days spent wandering the narrow alleyways, returning to the tranquil oasis of Color Safrà was reminiscent of returning home after a long day – a feeling that only a family-owned establishment like this could evoke. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to fellow travelers seeking authenticity and warmth in their journeys.
